How Amicus Green Building Center is Green
Every product Amicus sells goes through an extensive due diligence process to ensure that it offers true energy and/or water savings, has healthy properties and environmental integrity. Amicus also tries to walk the walk of sustainable business by using 100% wind power and energy efficient lighting, recycling and using recycled paper, composting food waste, and using ceramic mugs and plates to minimize disposables.

Aside from following many sustainable business practices, Amicus also volunteers its time and expertise in the community through classes and community events. For example, Amicus teaches the Green Materials and Product Strategies workshop for the Green Building Institute.
