A bit about TranquiliT
TranquiliT is an eco-friendly clothing line designed by Kimberly Wilson, an author and yogini, using bamboo and organic cotton fabrics. The line is sewn in Ohio, and a portion of the profits are donated to Tranquil Space Foundation to assist women and girls in unleashing their creativity. Also, a tree is planted for every online order shipped. TranquiliT is fabulous for layering, wearing on the yoga mat or on the town, and offers versatility in most designs. Live fully. Laugh often. How TranquiliT is Green
First of all, the clothing and accessories sold at TranquiliT are made of organic cotton and bamboo fabrics. Second of all, they know how to ship them to their costumers with a reduced impact on the environment! By offering an eco “shipping package turns to tote” option, they make it possible to reuse the packaging indefinitey (as a tote bag to be exact). Don’t need a bag? Orders can also be shipped via poly-mailer, the most lightweight and smallest packaging available, which can be returned to TranquiliT to be used again. They even plant a tree for every shipment that is sent out to help offset carbon emissions from the delivery process!
Why we think TranquiliT is great
TranquiliT’s ethics go beyond being environmentally friendly. All of their merchandise is produced in sweatshop-free locations and sewn DC (and is delivered by metro!). In addition, they donate a percentage of profits to Tranquil Space Foundation, which brings yoga, creativity, and leadership to women and girls. Plus, who doesn’t love cute, comfortable clothing?
