A bit about Local 16
Local 16 empowers the DC community through event hosting, promotion, and showcasing positive growth. Pieces from their Artist Collective are found all around the restaurant, they work closely with beautification projects around U street, and they invest in a biodynamic farm to supply their produce. Local 16 even adopted the New Hampshire block to keep the street and flower gardens clean!
A space revolving around community, food, and art makes us feel as warm and fuzzy as the their sustainable practices. Operating fully on clean energy, Local 16 takes the environment into consideration as part of the concerning parties. They also host events in their herb-lined, rooftop patio.
