How The Big Bad Woof is Green
Our favorite pet food and supply store is a Coop America green business. Other than having organic and eco-friendly products, The Big Bad Woof also offers fair trade items, and has merchandise sourced from local and North American companies, with preference given to small manufacturers. They also source bones from local farms.
Why we think The Big Bad Woof is great
The Big Bad Woof goes beyond supplying food and toys for our fuzzy friends. The Big Bad Woof goes beyond supplying food and toys for our fuzzy friends. They host several rescue organizations, including Washington Animal Rescue League (WARL), the Washington Humane Society, Greyhound Rescue and other rescue organizations. An adoption event is held each week right in the store! In fact, they helped WARL open their small store in the shelter, in which all net proceeds go to benefit the shelter. Proper nutrition, training, and healthcare are also priorities to these animal lovers. Every 4th weekend of the month, Big Bad Woof holds WoofClinics™ that focus on educating animal guardians on animal wellness and the pet care industry.
