Affordable Green Housing in DC

We have an ongoing relationship with CoolTown Beta Communities to provide just that, who are working with developers Taurus Development Group and The Menkiti Group.

The most immediate green living opportunity is with The Menkiti Group, a real estate developer"dedicated to increasing the supply of high quality affordable housing in convenient Metro accessible locations throughout the District of Columbia and has a special focus on providing homeownership opportunities to individuals who work in jobs that serve the community."   They'll be developing 16 condominium units on a site four blocks from the Columbia Heights Metro at 3318 Sherman Avenue, scheduled to be completed by December 2009.  If you are interested in this project, please complete our survey by clicking here -- this is your opportunity to help encourage them to build units that meet your specific needs and offer suggestions on what green features should be included in exchange for providing commitments to purchase if so accommodated.
